Foreign Travel Advice - Mexico

Areas with Travel Advisories

FCDO advises against all but essential travel to:

  • Baja California: City of Tijuana, Tecate, except certain transit routes.
  • Chihuahua: Certain sections are allowed, including the city of Chihuahua.
  • Sinaloa: Cities of Los Mochis and Mazatlán are allowed.
  • Tamaulipas: Certain border crossings are allowed.
  • Zacatecas, Guanajuato, Michoacán: Advisories exist to avoid essential travel.
  • Colima, Guerrero, Chiapas: Specific areas defined by restrictions.
