Continuing its success with Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean International has announced plans for a new private destination called Perfect Day Mexico, set to open in Mahahual on Mexico's Caribbean coast in 2027.

"Perfect Day at CocoCay has transformed our guests' experience and our business," says Jason Liberty, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group. "With travelers increasingly prioritizing unique experiences, we are thrilled to expand our Perfect Day Collection and serve guests eager to explore the Western Caribbean."

Since its opening in 2019, CocoCay has become the cruise line's most popular destination globally. Earlier this year, Celebrity Cruises began visits to CocoCay. Royal Caribbean also operates a private destination in Labadee, Haiti.

Additionally, the company is developing two new beach experiences: Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau, set to open in 2025, and Royal Beach Club in Cozumel, scheduled for 2026.

More information about Perfect Day Mexico will be revealed in the upcoming months, but it has been confirmed that the destination will focus on sustainability and collaboration with local government and communities.

Governor Mara Lezama of Quintana Roo expressed enthusiasm about the investment in Mahahual, emphasizing the importance of sustainable development and community involvement in this significant project.
